How to Get-back Windows 8 GUI Boot Menu ?


Millions of users are leaving windows 7 and installing windows 8,But after some days some users are missing user friendly interface of windows 7,then they again installing windows 8.This post is not for those who installed first windows 7 and then windows 8,this is for those people who installed windows 8 first and then windows 7 & they want to keep both operating in his pc.Today I'll share a command prompt trick which will enable your graphical user Interface Boot menu instead of black colored boot screen.

If you Installed windows 7 & 8 sequentially then It should look like the above screenshot but if you break the rules then It should Look like the below window.
How to enable Windows 8 GUI boot menu?
  • Login into your Windows 8 user account.
  • Now open Command Prompt (Admin)
How to open Command Prompt?
  • Windows key + run > type cmd Or press Windows Key + X and select the Command Prompt(Admin)
  • type bcdboot c:\Windows { C is the windows 8 Installed drive letter }

  • Now press Enter
  • If the boot created successfully then

You're done...Now Restart your Machine,if you did it all the steps correctly then you'll be able to see your beautiful boot menu.
