1. White hat Hackers : These type of Hackers never think of harming anyone.They hacks security systems only for testing.If they found any error or security holes then they directly info to the corresponding authority.Many big organisations hire themselves as a Security Specialist.White hat hacker's are also called as Ethical Hackers.
2. Black hat : Those type of people are always harmful for everyone,they are actually Cyber Criminals.They are always ready for showing their Skills.They breaks security systems and damages all valuable data,also uses data for self purposes.They are also called by Crackers.
3. Grey Hat : They are a bingo combination of White Hat & Grey Hat.They doesn't have any strict motives,sometimes helpful & sometime harmful.As an example:: They can create a huge problem on Systems & they will also fix it by the exchange of some Money.

                  On the basis of Experience :

1. Elite Haker : They are the Godfathers of Hacking,profound knowledge of hacking. New Hacking techniques are always discovered by them.
2. Script Kiddie : Script Kiddie or Skiddie's are not master on that,these kind of peoples always usees tools & softwares which are made by others to hack or to try hacking.
3. Newbie : Newbie,Neophyte or n00b - they doesn't have any knowledge or exparience about Hacking or Technology.Just entered in the Hacking World.

1.  Blue Hat :: They helps peoples to fill up system holes.
2. Hacktivist :: This kind of peoples send some message to some people or organisations.They are linked with Website Defacement or Denial-of-Service(DOS)/Distributed Denial-of-Service(DDOS) Attack.
3. State Sponsored Hacker :: State level Intelligence Agency or Cyber Warfare are made by those kind of peoples.State sponsored those hackers.
4. Cyber Terrorists :: These kind of hackers always create cyber crime activities. They are very efficient.
5. Spy Hacker :: They are hired for stealing confidential business data's .They are Spy Hackers.
